Competition / Practice Schedule

Students must join the first semester of school in the Fall in order to get the training needed to audition by the end of the semester for our competition season in November. Every member must audition in order to be placed in the correct level of difficulty for not only themselves but the entire team.

After the students have made the team, they are now taught a series of routines for competition season, or what we like to call winterguard. They will also learn more than the one routine for assemblies, football games, and any parades for the community that we participate in. Any and all practices and performances must be attened. Dedication is a key element in my teaching styles, and when you the parent do not make the same committment that your child has made then there is a block and they will not progress as much as they could have with your support rather then without it. So please support your child 100% and make sure they are at every practice and ever competition or event we participate in.

Below are the dates for our future competition season. These are updated regularly but as of right now this is where we stand. Blue events are confirmed and are mandatory, MUST BE attended. Black events are planned but not yet confirmed and green is our practice schedule. Nine hours a week is very little when discussing competition season, most winterguards go anywhere between 15 and 20 hours on average so I have already cut it down quite a bit. Please understand this! and lastly red events will be something that you as a parent need to know, change in schedule, parent meeting, etc.
